Last year, following a month of studies on Sydvaranger´s history from start-upin 1906 until today, Sydvaranger had the pleasure of hosting a plant site visit by 2nd graders from Kirkenes Primary School.

Their studies consisted of reading, watching movies and visits to the local museum– and during the visit they were able to take a closer look at the things they had studied. Stig Westgård hosted the visit, and were responsible for a very dedicated, eager and knowledgeable group with awide range of questions. Several of our visitors had family members who were employed during previous operational periods. As the drawings we received prove, the site visit certainly made an impression And who knows – maybe some of them will become future SYD-Team members
